The NANOGENOTOX WP2 team in ANSES which includes members of the “European and International Affair Unit”, the “Physical Agents, New Technologies and Large Developments Unit”, and the “Department of Information, Communication and Dialogue with Society” started the dissemination of information related to the Joint Action.
Communication tools were prepared to facilitate this dissemination. A leaflet presenting the project was prepared and copies were distributed by partners in the conferences and other events where they participate. The public website is regularly updated, posters and presentations were prepared for various events. Some partners presented communications during scientific meetings or briefly presented the project during conferences. The first Newsletter was published in March 2011.
The first stakeholders’ consultation started, and took place between end of October 2010 and early January 2011. More than 45 persons were contacted and 19 persons from 5 categories of stakeholders ( EU risk assessors and policy makers, scientific community, professional federations representing companies, NGOs and trade unions) participated by answering the questionnaire. A draft report of this consultation was prepared and will be available on this site soon.
